Lana Pidgeon was born and raised in Gainesville, FL. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Florida. She completed her Pediatric Residency with the University Of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) at Dell Children's Hospital, in Austin Texas. She served as Chief Resident and Associate Professor with UTSW the first year after graduating, then returned to north central Florida to practice general pediatrics. She joined Palms Medical Group in December of 2013. She is currently practicing in the Branford office where she provides preventative and acute care to children and adolescents. Dr. Pidgeon is Board Certified with the American Board of Pediatrics and is an active Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She currently lives with her husband and daughter in Fort White. She enjoys traveling, reading and spending time outdoors with her family.
