Lyla is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner. She was born in Alabama but relocated to North Florida at the age of seven and has lived in a small rural area since. She received both her Associate Degree in the Science of Nursing and her Bachelor’s Degree in the Science of Nursing at Florida State University in Jacksonville. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing with specializing in Family Practice from South University. Lyla has spent 32 years as a surgical intensive care nurse and has enjoyed transitioning into Family Medicine practice. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and anything out in nature. At Palms Medicine, her goal is to provide compassionate, high quality, evidence-based medical care to her patients and working with a caring, patient focused team.
