Dr. James Hodges is a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician from Waycross, GA.  He attended the US Naval Academy and served 20 years in the Navy.  He attended medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD.  After retiring from the Navy, he worked briefly with the VA medical system before moving to the Gainesville area.  He enjoys camping, jogging, classic cars, and spending time with his family.  As a doctor, he believes that every clinic visit should build a relationship of trust, and he strives to treat his patients as if they were family.
