Matthew Barber was born and raised in the Chiefland area. He is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, having completed his associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in nursing at Santa Fe College in Gainesville and his master’s degree in nursing at The University of South Florida in Tampa. He enjoys hiking, kayaking, exploring, travelling with his wife as well as many other hobbies. In clinic, Matthew strives to provide the highest quality, evidence-based care while also approaching each patient as a holistic individual. He believes every patient should be treated like family.
