William J. Stutts, FNP-BC is a lifelong Dixie County resident and family nurse practitioner. Early in his life, he became interested in a medical career while taking care of elderly and sick family members. In 2019, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Gateway College with his Associate of Science degree in nursing and subsequently began working on a neuro focused medical-surgical floor at the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville Florida. Later he graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science in nursing at Florida Gateway College in December of 2021, while also earning the community impact award. Shortly after graduating, he became the weekend nursing supervisor at Cross City Nursing Home and Rehabilitation where he worked for more than a year before beginning nurse practitioner school at the University of West Florida in January 2023. While working on his FNP degree, William became the weekend supervisor and wound care nurse at Tri-County Nursing Home in Trenton, Florida. During his FNP program, William trained at Palms Medical Group before graduating with honors in May of 2025.

William treats many conditions in his practice, but he has a special interest in wound care, for which he gained an appreciation while treating patients and rounding with wound doctors. In his spare time William enjoys reading about current world events, world history, watching YouTube, and playing video games.
