Carmen is a certified APRN with a broad clinical background and a lifelong passion for serving and empowering people. Raised on military bases in the United States and Central America, she developed a love of learning and the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. She earned her BSN from the University of Wyoming, where she played collegiate soccer and developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Over a decade of nursing has afforded her the privilege of caring for many patients from newborns to geriatrics and across settings ranging from trauma centers to primary care and she values each patient as an individual with unique goals and needs. 

 

Outside of work, she enjoys mountaineering around the world, any sport, exploring state and national parks, and spending time with her husband and their dogs, Quinn and Epi.
