Holly Jones, MSN, APRN, NP-C was born and raised here in North Central Florida and is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Master of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2014. Holly received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University, along with earning her Associate of Science Degree from Lake City Community College. Holly has been a registered nurse for over 20 years and comes to Palms Medical Group as the former Director of Nursing at Lafayette Health Care Center in Mayo Florida, where she served in this role for 12 years. In addition, Holly worked three years with the Florida Department of Health, as a School Nurse for Gilchrist County Schools.
Holly was widowed in 2010, when her husband was killed in the line of duty as a sheriff’s deputy. One of Holly’s biggest passions (besides her family), is volunteering with an organization called Concerns of Police Survivors (aka C.O.P.S.). This is a national organization that helps families of fallen law enforcement officers across the United States deal with the tragic loss. Holly currently resides in Cross City, Florida with her two sons.
Holly enjoys working for Palms Medical because it provides her the opportunity to serve the public providing primary care in the rural area of Florida where she grew up. It’s a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together. Holly truly believes caring for others is her calling in life, so coming to work is something she looks forward to each day.
