James Razi, MD is a family medicine doctor from St. Petersburg, Florida. He did his undergraduate college at University of South Florida in Tampa earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He then went to Northeastern Ohio College of Medicine to obtain his medical degree. He completed his residency training at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, completing training in family medicine and sports medicine. He practices the full range of family medicine including pediatric and adult medicine, sports medicine and joint injections, gynecology and dermatology. He has been in practice 20 years in St. Petersburg, Florida and his father was also a practicing physician there as well. He is married and has two children both in medicine as paramedics. His wife, Kelly, is a nurse who now manages restaurants. She is currently the manager of the Wafflehouse in Lake City, as well as restaurant manager of the Holiday Inn there. His father, Dr. Dean Razi, a surgeon, claims he has traced his ancestors to Al(EL) Razi-a, famous physician and scientist, in 865 AD during the Middle Ages. Dr. Razi, or Dr. Jim, as he is called by his patients enjoys all water and outdoor activities- boating, water skiing, scuba diving, hiking, ATVs and motorcycles.
