Dr. Jeyko Garuz is a University of Florida graduate born in Panama and raised in Miami, FL. He is happy to call High Springs, Florida his home. Dr. Garuz studied medicine at UVM in Burlington, Vermont, where he discovered a passion for the great outdoors, snowboarding, hiking and camping along the Appalachian trail. His residency took him south to Columbia, South Carolina where he and his wife continued their camping adventures with their daughter and sled dog until returning home to family in the sunshine state after graduation. Besides enjoying outdoor adventures with his family, Dr. Garuz has a passion for working with children and teens and providing a candid, comfortable experience for families with his easy going, jokester personality. Being fluent in Spanish, he particularly loves working in a community with a large Latino population, where he can practice and expand his fluency while providing much needed care.
