Krystal Hemingway is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Beginning her healthcare career in 2000, she worked several different positions prior to starting nursing school in 2004. She attended Santa Fe College and received her Associates of Science in Nursing in 2006 proceeding to work in the ER and then for hospice as a RN, and later became a director for hospice in the Sarasota area. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from State College of Florida while working for hospice in 2017 and began working in the ER again upon entering graduate school. In 2021, she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice from The Florida State University. Prior to providing primary care here at Palms Medical Group, she worked as a nurse practitioner in hematology/oncology bone marrow transplant.
