Kristin Hope McIntosh, MSN, FNP-C, is a native North-Central Floridian, born and raised in Dixie County, still residing there with her husband and two girls. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who received her Master of Science in Nursing Degree with high honors from South University in 2017. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University and her Associate of Science & Associate of Arts in Nursing from Lake City Community College graduating Cum Laude in all of her undergraduate degrees. Kristin has been a registered nurse for over 10 years serving the public in areas of Neurology, Cardiology, Public Health, School Health, Pediatrics, and most recently as a nursing educator at a local state college.
In her downtime, Kristin enjoys reading, shopping at thrift stores, makeup, and spending time with her children, family, and friends. Traveling, being crafty, and watching movies are also near the top of her list for fun things to do.
Kristin’s greatest passion in life is her family & they are the main reason for her desire to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. She also has a passion for education and giving back to her community, making the primary care setting the perfect domain for her talents. In this setting she can put her passions together and aid families in her own community to live healthier lives where healthcare and preventative care are attainable for everyone. Working for Palms offers her the opportunity to give back to the community that she holds near and dear to her heart. Kristin looks forward to using her dedication and excitement for education in the health promotion of the patients at Palms.
