Mariah Cheevers, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, RN-BC began her nursing career after graduating from Florida Gateway college with her Associates of Science in Nursing in 2015. She spent roughly 7 years working on the Pediatric Hematology Oncology and Rheumatology Unit at Shands at the University of Florida. During her time working as a bedside nurse, she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Florida in Nursing, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a focus on family medicine and practice focused on pediatrics. Mariah has enjoyed expanding her practice knowledge with family medicine. She believes that through evidence-based practice and up to date recommendations she can provide the most appropriate care.In her free time, she loves being with family and chasing her daughter, son, and pup.
