Shonverea is a Family Nurse Practitioner, certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and licensed by the State of Florida to provide family centered healthcare to patients of all ages. Her scope of practice encompasses health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of common and complex healthcare problems beginning in childhood and continuing throughout the aging process.

Shonverea has a strong nursing background and strives to provide the best care possible. She believes in building a long lasting and trusting relationship with patients. She desires to enhance positive healing experiences and confidence to those in need.

Shonverea was born in Gainesville, Florida and grew up in Archer, a small rural town 13 miles west of Gainesville. She has dedicated her entire life to healthcare. She spent her earlier years as Medical Assistant, patient care assistant and telemetry monitor tech at UF Health Shands. Since that time, she had accumulated 25 years of nursing experience and education in various areas of patient care (long term care, neurological, orthopedic, surgical, cardiac and emergency medicine). In 2001, she graduated from Central Florida Community College with her practical nursing certificate. After 10 years of being a LPN, she continued her education and bridged to become a Board-Certified Registered Nurse in 2011. She received her undergraduate degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing and then pursued a graduate degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing with a concentration as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2016.

She is married with four beautiful children. She enjoys water sports, fishing and traveling with her family.
